Curriculum
J. Helen Burks Theological Institute
Educating Since 1995
The J. Helen Burks Curriculum is designed to give students maximum exposure to traditional seminary programming with Bible centered emphasis.  As a result, the independent study based curriculum is designed by practicing ministers who have demostrated success in academics and field work.

We offer programs at the certificate, associate, bachelor's, master's and doctorate levels in the areas of Theology, Religion, and Divinity.  The areas of concenetration within the program can be tailored to meet individual needs.

Our curriculum includes several components which allow students to earn their academic credits.  Through the transfer of previous college credits and successful completion of Knowledge Equivalence Exam (KEE) and/or a Knowledge Equivalence and Experience Portfolio (KEEP), students are able to obtain credit from practical living related to their chosen field of study.  KEE and KEEP, combined with independent study is a pragmatic solution to producing a scholar proficient in the application of knowledge gained through education.
